Kielbasa Chili

Happy November! As always, we’re looking forward to Thanksgiving at the end of the month, a day full of our favorite recipes and people. We’re not waiting to start celebrating though! This month we’re going to be sharing some of our favorite recipes that include our turkey products! It’s the perfect way to enjoy turkey all month long.

We’re deep in fall weather now, so here at Wellshire we’re always on the hunt for recipes to warm us up on chilly afternoons. This Kielbasa Chili does the trick! We recently dug into this yummy recipe and everyone seemed to love it! No leftovers in sight. Wellshire Turkey Kielbasa is the perfect addition to this chili. The seasoning adds a bit of a kick to your afternoon. We enjoyed eating it with cheddar cheese and some cornbread muffins. We can’t wait for you to try it out with your family!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 packages Wellshire Turkey or Polska Kielbasa
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes undrained
  • 1 can chili with beans
  • 1 can whole kernel corn drained
  • 1 packet mild chili seasoning
  • finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • cornbread muffins

Directions

  1. In a deep soup pot, saute kielbasa until browned.
  2. Stir in tomatoes, chili, and corn. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add mild chili seasoning and stir until dissolved.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese onto individual bowls and serve with cornbread if desired.
