Delish editors joined the hot dog rating frenzy recently in order to determine what the best taste of summer truly was. Hot dogs after all represent all that summer has to offer – from beach days to pool parties to family BBQs. To narrow it down to the top dogs, Delish tasted 24 different brands and rated them based on flavor, texture, snap, and density.
Out of the 24 brands tasted, Wellshire Premium Beef Franks won “best texture”! The editors highlighted that they were “soft (but not spongy) firm, (but not dense), and juicy (but not wet). Wins all around!”
