Cheesy Kielbasa Tacos

It’s time for lunch! And today we’re featuring a recipe that has a bit of a kick to it – Cheesy Kielbasa Tacos! Wellshire Polska Kielbasa is a great addition to any Mexican dish, but we especially love them in simple tacos! Spice it up even more with your favorite salsa! Or go for a milder version, whatever fits your family best!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Wellshire Polska Kielbasa
  • 1 package tortillas/soft taco shells of your choice
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 tbsp your favorite salsa (we used pico de gallo)

Directions

  1. Peel (remove casing) the chorizo and dice the sausage into small pieces.
  2. Brown the chorizo in a non-stick frying pan, allowing some fat to render out, over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over warm chorizo and allow to melt.
  4. Place cheesy chorizo in center of tortilla.
  5. Top with your favorite salsa. Serve warm!
