  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3oz plain popcorn (prepared using your favorite method)
  • 1 package of Wellshire Bacon Bits


  1. Add sugar and water to a saucepan and cook over medium-low heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Raise the heat until sugar mixture comes to a boil. Stir pan constantly for about 10 minutes as the sugar mixture starts to golden.
  3. Once sugar is brown, add butter and heavy cream. It will bubble up. Stir continuously until blended completely. Add salt and mix. Set the caramel mixture aside to cool.
  4. Prepare the popcorn using your favorite method. After fully popped, place popcorn in a large bowl.
  5. Pour caramel sauce over the popcorn. Next sprinkle bacon bits on top. Mix together until all the toppings are well distributed. Enjoy!
