Bacon, Fig, and Pear Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Bacon anyone? There’s not much better than a good grilled cheese for lunch! Pump up the flavor on your grilled cheese today by adding pear, fig, and most importantly, bacon! Wellshire bacon is all natural, a better for you bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 Wellshire bacon strips
  • 1 pear (sliced)
  • 1 fig (sliced)
  • butter (for grilling)

Directions

  1. Cook bacon according to package directions and desired crispiness.
  2. Spread one side of each slice of bread with butter.
  3. Place one slice of bread in a pan over the stove with butter side down. Turn on medium heat.
  4. Add slices of cheese, bacon, pear, and figs to sliced bread. Place other slice of bread on top with butter side up.
  5. When bottom of cheese has turned a golden brown, flip sandwich to grill other side.
  6. Once the second side turns golden brown, remove from pan. Enjoy!
